ChatBot

The ChatBot is Quidgest's personal AI assistant, designed to enhance user experience across all generated applications.

It provides an always-available assistant that helps users navigate the application, understand features, and perform tasks more efficiently. The ChatBot is powered by the application’s technical documentation, ensuring accurate and context-aware guidance. This makes it an ideal first-line support tool, always within reach.

Configuration

To enable the ChatBot in an application:

  1. In the Settings menu, open the client and then the application to which you want to add the ChatBot.
  2. Enable the ChatBot option.
  3. After the generation, access the administration application (WebAdmin).
  4. Navigate to System Configuration > AI and External Services tab.
  5. Under the AI Integration Settings group, provide the API Backend URL.

Note:
The API Backend URL must point to the service handling chatbot responses, dynamic functions, document indexing, and other AI-related integrations.


Location and Usage

Once configured, the ChatBot will be accessible from the right sidebar in any generated application.

  • Click the ChatBot icon to open the chat window.
  • The conversation will remain available until the user manually clears it.
  • To clear the conversation, click the trash icon within the chat interface.

This seamless integration ensures that users always have guided support available while using the application.
